Choosing the perfect place to live, to call home, was very important to me and took some time. Having traveled extensively, I’ve lived in many beautiful places. Over the years, Marin County, Lake Tahoe, Jackson Wyoming, and Healdsburg, CA, (the heart of Sonoma wine country) are some of the places I’ve lived. Guess I’m just a sucker for a pretty place! As with many of the people I know, I came to Nevada County by accident, left for six years and by choice returned; making my way back to this incredible place I now call home.

I love where I live and so does my four-legged Escape companion Tao. Nevada County offers an eclectic mix of people and lifestyles, beautiful natural settings, a thriving arts and healing community, as well as the stunning Yuba River. There are many gifted and accomplished healers, artists, musicians and writers who have also chosen to call Nevada County their home.

Having worked as a non-profit administrator for over 20 years I know the meaning of service, connecting with people, contributing to a community and giving back. I understand the benefits derived from being organized, the value of networking and collaboration and the importance of creating balance and fun in your life. Loving our community and all it has to offer, I decided to build my dream business---offering creative one-of-a-kind vacation experiences that you will treasure and never forget. Loving travel myself, I always seek out the best a location has to offer. Often that means asking locals where to go, what to do, who’s the best, what’s hot and what’s not.
